RDyn-RubberLike Resin

RDyn Rubber-Like Material provides high quality engineering grade rubber components. It is a resin urethane based photopolymer (3d printing resin) which provides affordable, high quality rubber-like production quality parts.

We have used the resin in-house for close to 12 months now producing individually serialised prints for the age-care industry alongside other SLS manufactured parts. These parts have performed flawlessly with a print success rate of 98.21% and return rate of less than 1%.

What you can expect

Remarkable elongation and rebound make it perfect for engineering and functional prototypes.

Rubber feeling provides an accurate final finish and feel.

Current applications

We currently have had great success with the following applications

  • Automation grippers and suction

  • Gaskets and hosing for automotive and aerospace

  • Mesh and lattice weight reduction

  • Absorption and Dampening

Why use RDyn Rubber-Like?

We've had a lot of success using a rubber-like material for engineering purposes. We used it as a spacer for a car company, replacing foam and custom injection moulded pieces. The rubber-like material can be formed in a lattice structure and mimics the foam and moulded pieces without the need for tooling (injection moulding) or using excess, expensive and messy material (foam).

There was also all the benefits existing additive manufacturing has. Producing low-volume parts for unique configurations with rapid scalability for large-scale manufacturing.
